LankaHostMaster unlimited web hosting with cPanel offers webmail interface that you can use to manage your mail from anywhere. Here you will learn how to login to webmail and about some webmail options.
Where do I Login to Webmail?
There are several different URLs that access your webmail:
- example.com/webmail
- webmail.example.com
- example.com:2096
Be sure to replace example.com with your actual domain name.
You will be asked for a username and password. The username will be your full email address (all lowercase). The password will be your email address password, or you can enter your cPanel username and password.
What is Webmail?
There are several ways you can check your email. For example, you can set up a desktop email server like Microsoft Outlook, or Mac Mail, or web-based clients like Gmail to check your email. You can check your email on your phones, such as an iPhone or Android phone.
Webmail is another tool that you can use to send and receive emails. Webmail is different because you can access it using a web browser. You don’t need to set up the software. You can simply log into webmail and start using it.
Note: Before you try to access webmail, make sure you have created an email address in your cPanel first.
Steps for Logging into Webmail
The following steps will show you how to access webmail. In this example, we assume that the email address you want to check is [email protected]

How to Log into Webmail from cPanel
You can access webmail through the convenient cPanel interface.
Log into cPanel
Click Email Accounts
Find the email account you want to check and click Check Email
Troubleshooting Webmail Problems:
I am not prompted for a username / password
If you are not prompted to enter a username and password when visiting example.com/webmail, please try visiting webmail.example.com.
This problem is usually caused by a firewall on your network blocking webmail ports 2095 and 2096. Using webmail.example.com allows you to access webmail over port 80, the normal port used for web traffic.
I forgot my password
If you forgot your email address’ password, the easiest solution is to reset your email address password in cPanel and try accessing webmail again.
Should I Click on Horde or Roundcube?
Which server you use depends a lot on personal preference. Horde has many customizable features and options, but this can make the software slower and more “busy”. Similar to a desktop client like Outlook or Mac Mail, but with fewer readily available features, RoundCube has a clean, modern look and feel.
